COACH
The junior club is looking to recruit enthusiastic young basketball players aged 15 and up for our volunteer assistant/development coaching program.
The process:
1st season - volunteer assistant /development coach

Allocated a more senior coach to work with.
​
Allocated a team to coach.
Must commit to 2 sessions a week as per a player. Training and games.
​
Depending on assertiveness, confidence, ability and commitment the tasks at training and games will be up to them and the lead coach in charge.
2nd season
If lead coach and director of coaching agree the young coach is ready, they may have their own team for the 2nd season - paid.
​
If young coach isn’t quite ready they may work with another coach acting as a co-coach - paid.
​
If head coaches agree that the coach needs another season of development then another season of volunteering will be required.
